Pros

Staff are consistently praised for being welcoming and helpful.

The on-site food menu includes well-regarded dishes like duck chips and Katsu curry.

The pub's family-run management contributes to a homely atmosphere.

Cons

The property is a bit off the beaten track, making it less accessible without a car.

Cooked breakfast is only served from 10am, which may not suit early risers.

“What strikes me most is the genuine warmth extended by the staff, making every interaction feel remarkably personal and helpful. The location offers a quiet escape, a welcome contrast, complemented by food that truly satisfies. It's a place where good value is felt in every detail, from the clean, comfortable rooms to the accommodating service, creating a sense of welcome ease.”
